Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the organisation's day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and business continuity.
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational functions.
Monitor departmental KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
Collaborate with senior management to support strategic planning and business growth.
Ensure company policies, operational standards, and best practices are consistently followed.

Develop procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency.

Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock accuracy.
Optimize warehouse layouts, storage utilization, and operational workflows.
Ensure timely order fulfillment while maintaining inventory integrity.
Implement inventory control measures, regular stock audits, and reconciliation processes.

Coordinate activities across Procurement, Warehouse, Marketing, Customer Support, IT, HR, and other departments.
Resolve operational bottlenecks and improve collaboration between teams.
Ensure projects and operational initiatives are executed efficiently and on schedule.

Champion the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across operational functions.
Utilize AI-powered CLI tools to automate repetitive tasks, reporting, documentation, research, and operational workflows.
Identify opportunities where AI can eliminate manual work and improve efficiency.
Design and improve AI-assisted Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and business workflows.
Evaluate and implement emerging AI tools that improve operational productivity and decision-making.
Train and mentor team members on effectively using AI tools within their daily work.

Analyze operational performance using KPIs, dashboards, and business metrics.
Present recommendations and reports to senior management.
Develop and maintain SOPs, operational documentation, and process maps.
Drive operational excellence through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

3–8 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business Operations.
2+ years of leadership or managerial experience.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
Experience managing multiple operational functions simultaneously.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Hands-on experience using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, or equivalent tools.
Strong proficiency with AI-powered CLI tools and AI-assisted workflow automation.
Excellent prompt engineering skills with the ability to use AI effectively for research, documentation, process optimization, reporting, and business decision support.
Ability to rapidly learn and adopt emerging AI technologies.
Experience with workflow automation, scripting, APIs, or low-code automation platforms is an added advantage.

Qualifications

MBA or Master's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
